Pushpa i hate tears! but ‘kaka’ must be in tears after hearing comments made by a veteran actor who said “Nothing has changed in Bollywood. It is the same as it was 50 years ago. The photography and editing is better but the subjects are as puerile as they were in the 70’s.
“In fact, it was the 70’s when mediocrity came in Hindi films. That’s when the actor called Rajesh Khanna joined the industry. For all his success, I think Mr Khanna was a very limited actor. In fact, he was a poor actor. Intellectually, he wasn’t the most alert person I have ever met. His taste ruled the industry,”
To blame a superstar of yesteryear for bollywood’s deteriorating quality of films is highly outrageous and insensitive especially when the actor is not alive to defend himself although an obvious reply came from his daughter who must have been hurt badly like numerous other fans of kaka.
Few other film personalities too joined to lend their support to kaka but the damage has been done still everybody knows that the contribution made by rajesh khanna to indian film industry is unmatched and he deserves applause, appreciation and above all respect.
